Consuming high protein breakfast meals is such an important lifestyle must!
Reducing cravings, aiding weight loss, improving satiety, building and maintaining lean muscle mass, reducing fatigue, balancing hormones...there's multiple benefits.
Let's face it though...sometimes we need a break from eggs at this meal.
Here's my Protein Pancakes recipe which makes me feel like I'm having a treat :)

Ingredients:
3/4 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup oats or 1/4 cup buckwheat flour
3 eggs
1/4 cup protein powder
1/4 cup milk (plant-based)
2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup blueberries
optional -vanilla extract or cacao if using
plain protein powder.
olive oil for frying
Method:
Combine cottage cheese and eggs, stir together.
Add oats/buckwheat flour, protein powder, vanilla, milk, cinnamon & honey.
Mix together with a wooden spoon until all combined.
Stir through blueberries.
Fry in small amount of olive oil (enough so they don't stick)
Flip over when golden and fry the other side.
Serve with berries and yoghurt or on their own.
Makes about 12.-16
